The Town of Mulberry water systems includes two water towers with the capacity of 225,000. We have three wells which are 60 ft, 221 ft, and 250 ft deep. We are currently supplying 500 customers with water. The plant supplies an average of 100,000 gallons per day.
A consumer confidence report is sent to all customers by the first of July every year. This and other documents are available on our Downloads Page under the waterworks section.
A summer sprinkling credit is offered in the months of July, August, and September. The customer’s average usage during the months of January, February and March are used to figure the wastewater charge during the summer months. This allows for customers that have pools, garden, lawn watering, washing vehicles, etc. The customer is charged for the water that is used but receives a discount on the wastewater rates (if they used less water in January through March).

Hydrant Flushing
The Town of Mulberry employees bi-annually flush hydrants to remove built-up sediments in the water lines. It will be posted when this will occur. Please do not wash your white clothes on the designated days due to possible water discoloration. Should you water become discolored during this time, please allow your cold water faucets to run until the water has cleared up.
